Privacy Policy

How Reelvia handles submitted links, local history, service providers, and technical request data.

Last updated: July 22, 2026

1. Information you submit

When you use the downloader, the Instagram URLs you submit are sent to our server and then to the configured media provider so the request can be processed. Do not submit private information in the input field.

2. Local history

Successful links may be stored in your browser's localStorage to provide a recent-links feature. This data stays on that browser unless you clear it, clear site data, or your browser removes it.

3. Technical data

Hosting, security, and network providers may process standard request information such as IP address, user agent, timestamps, and error events. We aim to minimize application-level logging and do not intentionally write full submitted Instagram URLs to application logs.

4. Media providers

Apify is the primary media-processing platform selected for the first release. Submitted public URLs are sent to its Instagram Downloader Actor when that integration is enabled. Apify and any future fallback provider process data under their own terms and privacy policies.

5. Cookies and analytics

The current application does not require advertising cookies. If analytics, advertising, or error-monitoring services are introduced, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before activation.

6. Retention and deletion

Browser history can be removed with the Clear action. Infrastructure logs, if generated by hosting or security providers, follow their configured retention periods.

7. Changes

This policy may change when the service, provider, or legal requirements change. Material updates will be reflected by the date shown on this page.

8. Contact

For privacy questions or requests, email support@reelvia.app. Please do not include Instagram passwords, private media, or unnecessary personal information.
